Dhyana, Meditation

One of the five points of Yoga that is fundamental is constituted by Positive Thinking & Meditation, as taught by Swami Vishnu-devananda founder/Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers.

When still is the surface of a lake, one can easily see to the bottom as it is very much clearly. When the surface is agitated by waves, however, this now becomes an impossible task.

In a very similar same way, when still is the mind, with one having neither thoughts, nor desires, one can see then the "Self". This is Yoga.
